1. Who we are
Aurum Trade Finance (“Aurum”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For any data protection question you may contact us at privacy@aurumtradefinance.com.
2. What we collect
- Information you provide: name, email, phone, country of residence, investor classification, indicative investment range and the acknowledgements you make when requesting our guide.
- Technical information: IP address, device and browser information, referring URL and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies operated by us and by our analytics providers.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- To send you the professional investor guide and follow-up information you have requested — based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To assess whether you meet our eligibility criteria and to maintain records of those assessments — based on our legitimate interests in qualifying enquiries responsibly (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To comply with applicable financial-promotion, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping obligations — based on our legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To measure and improve the performance of our campaigns — based on consent (where required by local cookie rules) or our legitimate interests.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data with a limited number of trusted service providers acting on our instructions, including our customer relationship management system, email and document delivery providers, hosting and security partners, and analytics providers (which may include Google, LinkedIn and Meta). These providers are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection agreements.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism to protect your data.
6. How long we keep it
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you become an investor or we are required to keep it longer to meet legal or regulatory obligations. You may ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
7. Your rights
Subject to local law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address above.
8. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site and measure the performance of our campaigns. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention where required.
